Listen I am no expert, i haven't used premium wax based colour pencil but I have used pencils like Camlin, Staedtler, Maped and Dooms and I can confirm this pencil are far superior than the ones i mentioned. And for the price it's a steal. With a little bit of effort and patience you can make great art, afterall the tools doesn't matter it's the artist who makes great art
