Overall very good value for money. A couple of colors are not as smooth and opaque. But if u want something thicker and opaque than watercolors ..this is the best thing out there. Water soluble gouache this is.

I have been using this product for almost 6 months now. Its a solid set of gouache with lots of colours.1. Rich vibrant opaque colours.2. Quite lightfast. I haven't seen any fading yet.3. Quality for price.If you have never used gouache before it will take a bit of practice to learn.Gouache is a medium that is great for illustrative work so this works really well. The best way to improve this set is to give a bigger white tube as you will need it to lighten colours. If you use water to do this you will lose the beautiful opacity and matt finish. Don't try and use this like watercolours as it will give you poor results. I tried doing wet in wet with this and it did not work very well.
