They are good quality gouache, they dry at superfast speed and give matte finish, colors are bright I bought them mainly for three colors skin, pink, teal. And I love these three colors. But for overall review- no orange but vermilion is there, then two violet looks almost same, among five red shade two reds looks almost same, two brown shades are there and one of them looks like dark crimson red, 4 greens looks good, 3 yellow and all 5 blues is very opaque as well.Overall not bad but I think it will be great if colors available in this set would be different I would love to have more pastel light shades instead of two same violets and reds.But these are definitely gouache not watercolor so this set worth every peny.

Received it todayWanted to use for Calligraphy.All the people who want to use it for Pointed Pen Calligraphy it's a yes yes. Works like a charm.All u got to do it's adjust it's consistency by adding water with a dropper. It has got so many shades that's what I love about them. And it has a Matt finishing like the sumi ink so its just ????.Won't recommend to Calligraphy beginners but you can try pointed pen with it.Happy with the product.

I like the colours and the texture of the paints but after a while they ferment in the tubes itself and had an experience of the cap flying off on its own due to the build up of gas inside. And no I did not use a wet brush to pick the paint from the tube.

I'm impressed with gouache colors, the colors are really pigmented. For beginners is the best thing they can go with. Only drawback is, I see some color tubes are over filled as soon as I open the color automatically spills out ( due to the pressure may be) but if you know how to maintain the colors, it's good to go with.
