My initial review was a little negative and I redact that. The paper is not suited for watercolor, but is pretty good for sketching. Fine toothed, but still with a little texture which comes out when using pencils or good color pencils. That being said, I still feel the anupam series of sketchbooks is a little better at this price range consider that it feels much more textured, is thicker and can hold up to watercoloring better, and is slightly more toned than this.

The paper quality is decent. I use it for drawing tangle patterns with Micron pens. I also use watercolor pencils. It works great for both.The problem is that it has a flimsy cover and not hard cardboard. Two books arrived with thick permanent creases in the paper because of which I cannot do pencil shading on my patterns. Request the seller to pack it better to avoid this in future.
